Since the late 1990s, MatWorks has remanufactured walk-off mats for the textile rental industry and for mat manufacturers. It is Canada's oldest dedicated shop for this work.

MatWorks repairs and remanufactures rental mats for the textile rental industry and mat manufacturers. Border replacement, tear repair, resizing, over-dyeing, RFID installation and label reapplication. A remanufactured mat bills exactly what a brand-new one does and goes back on the route for 50 to 80% less than replacement.

MatWorks is a repair division serving the industry. It does not solicit mat rental accounts and does not call on repair customers' accounts.

The invoice record runs back to 2003, the earliest year still online, and covers more than 70,000 repairs including over 60,000 border replacements. Our own in-house repair volume is on top of that and is not counted in those figures. The work goes back on route under national and independent rental brands across the country, direct and through distribution.

The shop is in Mississauga, Ontario. Damaged edges are fully removed and a clean, seamless nitrile border is vulcanized on. No patches, no glued edges, no quick fixes. Every mat is returned to NFSI High-Traction certified standards and backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty on our repair and remanufacturing process.
